The chairman of the AMVB was Walther Joye and Dis Verstraete was managing director. The collection consists of archives, books, magazines, objects, documentation and oral sources. Together they paint a picture of the Flemish presence in Brussels from different angles throughout the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. \r\n\r\nThe archives are the core of the AMVB's collection. These documents bear witness to the countless activities of their creators: Dutch-language associations, organisations and individuals in Brussels. \r\n\r\nIn addition to archives, there are a few other types of documentary collections. These collections of information were artificially compiled can be classified in all kinds of ways. We call this documentation, which in practice usually consists of clippings, brochures and individual documents.
