Flora Kermouch (1922-2017) was born Flora Hay in Baghdad, Iraq on September 18, 1922 to Isarel Nissim Hay and Hanini Hay. She found herself stranded in Toulouse during the Holocaust while her parents remained in Bagdhad. She credits the archbishop of Toulouse and local nuns with saving her. She married Harold Kermouch.
