Metal fork with ridged handle used in Theresienstadt
Eva Moskovits (later Deutsch) was deported from Targu Mures to Auschwitz concentration camp on May 28, 1944. She was assigned prisoner number 54993. After four months, she was sent to a slave labor camp near Teplice, where she worked from October 4, 1944, to April 25, 1945. She was then sent to Theresienstadt ghetto/labor camp in German occupied Czechoslovakia where she was liberated by Soviet troops on May 8, 1945.
