Leonard Lauder collection
Leonard A. Lauder (1933- ) is the chairman emeritus of Estée Lauder Companies Inc. and the son of the company’s co-founders, Joseph and Estée Lauder. He served as a lieutenant in the navy before formally joining Estée Lauder in 1958. He served as president of the company from 1972 to 1995, as chief executive officer from 1982 to 1999, and chairman from 1995-2009.
