Volyn regional department of economic calculations began work in 1940. Temporarily stopped its activities during the Nazi occupation of the region. Resumed his work after the liberation of Volyn region in February 1944. It performed the functions of state administration in the field of statistics, produced statistical materials on the development of the national economy of the region.
