The collection of printed editions of the operative archive at KGB of UkrSSR was created in December 1959. It consists of documents received up to 1991, and relates to the history of state security bodies of Ukraine, the USSR, and special services of foreign states. The collection also includes archival funds of the subunits of central apparatus of KGB UkrSSR which are of scholarly and historical value. Printed editions, manuscripts, lectures on the work of special services, reference literature, memoirs of veterans of the state security bodies of Ukraine are included.
