Trenčianska župa II 
Based on the Law No. 190/1939 the territory of Slovakia (1939-1945) was divided into six administrative regions called County (Župa). One of these six counties was Trenčín County (Trenčianska župa) with the seat in Trenčín. County was established and acting from 1 January 1940. The County Office of the Trenčín County was the superior body of the state administration to the District Offices of several districts. The county consists of the following districts: Trenčín, Piešťany, Myjava, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Púchov, Ilava, Považská Bystrica, Bytča, Žilina, Kysucké Nové Mesto, Čadca a Bánovce. The Head of the County nominated by the government and was in charge of the County Office. The whole County Office was subordinated to the Ministry of Interior.
