. . "Hans Feld Papers"@eng . "Hans Feld was born in Berlin in 1902. He studied law until 1924 when he started working as a free-lance writor for Film-Kurier. Later he became the editor and then executive editor. he wrote reviews and avant-garde articles on German and Russian film. He married his wife Kathe Behr in 1928. Their son Michael was born in 1929.\n\nIn 1932 he started working as a playwright and production manager but soon had to flee Germany to avoid the increasing violence towards Jews. He went to Prague and in 1935 moved to London where he continued working in film. In 1937 he changed careers to work with food import and also work with different Jewish organisations in London. He also founded the company Music in Vision Ltd. In 1982 he was awarded a gold award by the German film industry for his contribution to German film.\n\nHe died in London in 1992."@eng .
