Reichsvereinigung der Juden in Deutschland: Records 

The Reichsvereinigung der Juden in Deutschland was established on 4 July 1939 under the 10th decree of the Nazi’s Reich citizenship law. The organization came under the authority of the Reich Security Main Office, in particular the Gestapo. Its purpose was to identify and to prepare for emigration all of Germany’s Jewish population. It differed from the organization which it replaced, the Reichsvertretung der Deutschen Juden, in that it was an organ of the Nazi authorities, although it retained some of the former’s key officers. The Reichsvereinigung was terminated on 10 June 1943 and most of its officials were deported to the East.
