Julius Bloch: Correspondence
Julius Bloch, born in 1877 in Bühl, Baden, became a leading member of the Jewish Community of Frankfurt am Main. He emigrated to Great Britain in 1938 and died in 1956. According to a tribute to him shortly prior to his emigration, Bloch was instrumental in centralising the welfare activities of the Frankfurt Jewish community, creating a single organisation to replace the numerous smaller organisations. It is not known what he did after arrival in Great Britain.
