Okresní úřad Vodňany 

The Vodňany District Office was established as a mixed district office in 1855 and dealt with the political and judicial agendas. It administered the judicial district of Vodňany and was subordinated to the Regional Office in Písek. In 1868, the mixed district office was abolished and the entire Vodňany judicial district was merged with the District Governor's Office in Písek. This situation lasted until 1940, when the Vodňany District Office was established as part of the Nazi occupation administrative reorganization. It lasted until 1942, when it was abolished by the Ministry of the Interior and its municipalities were incorporated into the district of the District Office of České Budějovice and the District Office of Písek.
