Jewish Religious Community of Hroznětín
Jewish settlement in Hroznětín is documented from the beginning of the 16th century. Jews who had been banned from Karlov Vary moved there to live. The Jewish population was at its largest in the first half of the 19th century. A prayer association in Nejdek (under the direction of the Jewish Religious Community of Hroznětín) was existence from the 1880s until 1938. The Hroznětín community was disbanded during the Nazi occupation and was not re-established after the Second World War.
