Jewish Religious Community of Slaný
The small medieval Jewish settlement of Slaný was disbanded following the expulsion of Jews in 1458. A more prominent settlement emerged there in the middle of the 19th century. A prayer association was founded in 1861, which became an independent religious community probably as early as 1865. This community existed until the Nazi occupation. The independent Jewish Religious Community of Kralupy was affiliated to the Slaný community in 1932.
