The collections was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum by Joanna Bruzdowicz in 1997. Lydia Perry, Director of Community Programs, gave the collection to Bret Werb, Musicologist, who transferred it to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives in June 1997.
