Source of acquisition is the Derz︠h︡avnyĭ arkhiv Lʹvivsʹkoï oblasti (State Archive of Lviv Oblast). The records were created by various German military, police, and civilian occupation authorities, and were left in L’viv oblast by the Germans as they retreated. The records were maintained by Soviet security forces and were later transferred to the the State Archive of Lviv Oblast, Ukraine.
