Donor Oskar Mendelsohn photocopied the bulk of the collection at the Norwegian Resistance Museum Norges Hjemmefrontmuseum and other archival repositories. The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in August 1992 together with printed booklets and articles Mendelsohn authored, and copies of several extracts from wartime diaries, memoirs, and histories.
