The archival records originally stored in the registry at the seat of the inspectorate in Trpísty were taken over, in 1951, along with the archival records of the estate of Třebel-Trpísty, to the State Regional Agricultural Archives in Horšovský Týn. In 1959 they were transferred to the Klatovy branch of the State Archives in Plzeň where they were placed in a separate fonds in 1960. In 2008, the fonds was moved to the Klášter branch of the State Regional Archives in Plzeň.
