After the end of the activity of the office of the Landrat (district councillor), its registry was transferred in 1945 to the then Silesian Land Archives in Opava. From certain sections of the agenda of the office only a fraction of the material has been preserved, and it is therefore possible to judge that the Germans intentionally destroyed certain more important parts of the registry or took them elsewhere. In 1955 the fonds was reconstructed and furnished with a temporary inventory list, and in 1960 was arranged. Part of the material received later remains unprocessed.
